I am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) in Colorado and Texas as well as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the states of New York and Washington with over 25 years of experience in private practice, corporate organizations, and working with military families.
For more than two decades , I have been working with families across generations-adults, adolescents and children to assist them in meeting their goals of improved mental health.
I provide comprehensive support by identifying with you what your primary concerns are and developing a treatment plan that will guide your progress. I also utilize appropriate assessment tools as needed for diagnostic purposes and progress measurement.
In addition, I will work collaboratively with your primary care physicians, psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists, speech therapists and occupational therapists in order to provide full “wrap around” support ensuring each aspect of your life – physical, mental, and emotional – is addressed fully.
I hold a B.A. degree in Psychology from Fresno Pacific University, Fresno, CA and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Counseling and Guidance graduating with honors from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. I also have specialized training in the treatment of anxiety, depression and other mood disorders utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Exposure Response Therapy(ERP), ADHD training, and a number of other specialized trainings and experience.
